Where has the month gone?

Every Sunday I think to myself, I should blog. But I don't.

So, here is July in a nutshell -

We decided last minute to go to PG and spend the 4th with my family. We haven't done that for many years. It was great. We hiked Timp on Friday, which was an exhausting reminder of just how out of shape I am. The boys did great and I think they liked the hike better than the cave. Then Friday night we had a BBQ with the family and roasted marshmallows. Saturday we got up early and went to the Parade in Provo. I said to Dave after we saw the 12th firetruck drive past at the beginning that this alone was the difference between Rexburg and Provo. It was a long parade, but we had a nice spot in the shade and enjoyed just being together with everyone. That afternoon we played around a little, had a BBQ with the neighbors then went to some other neighbors' house and watched fireworks. What a show!!! They had to have spent thousands of dollars on their fireworks as it was almost as good as the Melaleuca show!!
We came home on Sunday night, and Monday, Dave was sick, then Tuesday was okay, and Wednesday thought he was going to die. The Dr. said he had "gastritis"and he is now saying maybe it was the swine flu. Whatever it was, it wasn't fun for anyone. Friday I helped at a wedding reception, and Saturday we worked in the yard, then had a picnic at the park for dinner.
This week started with Colton throwing up every 10 minutes from 2:30am until 6am Sunday night. He acted OK on Monday, but I made him lay low, which he didn't love. Man was I tired! Tuesday I decided to sell homemade jam and hot scones with a friend at the Farmer's Market on Friday. So, between getting ready for a week at the cabin next week, a family reunion in Logan the weekend after, and girls camp the week after that, plus helping pull together a work party for The Legacy Network next Friday and planning a Sales Convention in August, it is a crazy month.
One of these days I'll get pictures on here of our adventures!
