We had such a fun Easter Weekend. It started on Friday with a neighborhood egg hunt. Each family took 10 eggs per kid to our friend's house and she organized it and hid the eggs at the park. Everyone got a load!
Then on Saturday we went to an egg hunt at an assisted living center run by some friends of ours. Again, we got a load.
Today the boys were excited to come home from church to again find more eggs, but they were surprised when they found a note that said this:
Dear Millsmessmakers:
As I was hopping through your neighborhood I realized that you have already been to two of my egg hunts this weekend. So, instead of hiding more eggs for you, I made a scavenger hunt. There are four clues. Love, The Easter Bunny
Here is your first clue:
Roses are Red; Violets are Blue; Peaches grow on trees, and so does your next clue. (peach tree)
People live in houses; Bear lives in Caves, cars live in garages, and the lawn mower lives here. (shed)
I can't really remember what the other clues said exactly but one took them to the sandbox
and the other took them to the new gate Daddy just built and the treasure was a new wheel barrow, the movie Brave, jelly beans, and a 4-square ball. There was also a soft cow and little princess set for Sabree. (our first girl toys!!)
Super fun!!
