Today is the thyroid completion surgery for Dave. Please keep him in your prayers. In 2 weeks from today we are hoping that the iodine and thyroid levels are such that he can do the radiation treatment. Then, if all goes well, we will be mostly done with this mess by the end of the month.
Thanks so much for your support. I have been overwhelmed by the comments you are leaving and the prayers in our behalf.

i keep trying to comment & everytime i do my computer freaks out. hopefully this time it will go through! we hope everything goes okay & know that we have been thinking about you guys. we can't believe the diet you've had to work around! we've heard thyroid treatment is really hard...do you have to do the thing where you basically become radioactive & not be around anyone for 3 weeks?? my mom's friend had to do that & it was really hard on her. we're praying that this all goes smoothly & that you will be done with it soon! love you guys, the straders
