New Family Pictures

We decided to get our last family picture in Idaho yesterday. I LOVE JCPENNEY PORTRAITS!! I got everything I wanted and paid $30!!

We did family pics and Braden's 1 year old pictures. I am so pleased and can't wait to get them back! I'll be excited to hang them on my wall, when I get a new wall to hang them on....

Washington State...here we come

After 3 great job offers, Dave has accepted a job in Kennewick, Washington with AgriNorthwest, the church farm. Dave will start the first week of March, and the boys and I will stay behind to sell our home. Please pray that we sell fast!! We have lower the price of our home, and are willing to negotiate, so if you know of anyone looking, please send them our way!

Dave will be an Ag Tech, basically their farm manager training program. Within a few years he will be in a management position. The pay is good, the benefits are great, and the opportunities and potential are endless.

We are so excited for our next new adventure, and yet so sad to leave our friends and the familiarity of Sugar City behind. Thank you for your love and support for us in all we do.

Braden is one!!

Happy Birthday Braden!! What a funny little boy we have. He is so busy and cute and busy and fun! We are sure glad to have him in our family.
Braden has been walking all over the place for over a month now. He gets into everything....the toilet, the markers, the kleenex box (and we don't only pull them out one at a time, but we shred each one into tiny little pieces too), the cyran wrap, anything and everything. He is the ultimate copy cat, doing just what his brothers do, and they think it is funny and teach naughty things to him. He had decided that his Dad is great, still prefers his Mom, and doesn't want anyone other than his parents. Brady's very favorite thing to do is brush his teeth. He mimicks Tanner and does just like him, including the spit part. He has the cleanest 4 teeth ever, as he brushes them as often as he can get to the sink.
Braden loves the dinosaurs that his brothers got for Christmas and roars just like a dinosaur would. So, he got a dinosaur cake for his birthday. And he knew just what to do with it. EAT!! That is a good thing about Braden. He likes to eat!

We were lucky to have Auntie and Cami and Andrea and Cousin Jo and Tyler and Uncle Mitch out for a party the day after his birthday. The traditional waffles and ice-cream was the birthday dinner on his birthday, and lasagna was on the menu for the party dinner. Brady got one present for his birthday - new onsies from Grandma Peterson. We figured he really didn't need anything and he didn't know the difference anyway, so that was all he got. It was a fun day!

A Week of Interviews

What a week this has been....
Sunday night Dave flew to Pasco, WA for an interview with a company in Hermiston, OR. He flew home on Tuesday afternoon, walked in and checked the answering machine to only to have a message from the Church Farm in Pasco, WA, called the guy, and he flies out on Friday morning to Pasco again to meet with them. (Dave said that he will soon be a professional flier, and my mom suggested maybe he should be a stewardess!) On Wednesday he had a phone interview with a company in Texas, Thursday he drove to American Falls to meet with a company there, and whew....there wasn't room for any more.
We did show our house last night, for the first time. It went well, and they loved it, but of course they have to sell their home first. I am suspecting that by the end of next week we will pretty much have a course of action. It is nerve racking to wonder what is next and not know just how to plan. Tuesday night was the first night that I lost sleep over this situation. I am just praying that Heavenly Father will watch over us.

Home for Sale

Well, this is for real now. Dave has got some real good leads for a new job, and our home is for sale. Even though nothing is for sure now, I don't want him to get a job, have to move, and be stuck with a house. So, sad as I am, I have decided that we can make home anywhere, and we love our house, but it is just a building. Tanner and Colty are very sad that we are selling, and talk about how much they don't want to move because they will miss their friends, but I think once we have something new to look forward to, it won't seem so bad. I just hope that Dave finds a job he loves. So far he has interviewed with 2 companies in Nebraska, he flies out Sunday to meet for a 2nd interview in Oregon, he has had 2 interviews with John Deere in Idaho Falls, has a 3rd interview in Pocatello next week, and another phone interview with a company in TX. Basically, we are all over the board. The future is a little uncertain right now, but I do know that no matter what, it is going to be okay. Heavenly Father has a way of comforting us through little tender mercies. I am so grateful for that.
