A summer vacation

Months ago Grandma called and asked when we were coming to visit her.  We thought about it and decided to go the two weeks before the cabin week.  We debated about how to get to UT, and then Grandma bought an airline ticket an flew to us to drive back with us.  She's a good sport.

As usual the boys traveled great.  Sabree was a mess.  We planned it so that she would take her morning nap, we'd stop for lunch, then she would take her afternoon nap, and we would be there.  Well, Sabree napped for 40 minutes the whole day.  And she was a disaster.  By the time we got to Mountain Home she was screaming and pinching her lips and pulling at her eyelashes and hitting herself in the head and biting her toes and throwing anything we handed her at the window. It was a lot of fun for everyone!

Our first stop was in Twin Falls at Aunt Susan's house.  She is remodeling and we wanted to see the new things she had done.  Then we drove to Liz and Ryan's house and had dinner and the kids played with cousins outside and in the pool.  They have a beautiful home that was fun to see too.  Then we drove to Grant and Dana's new home and got to see where it was too.  I was a little bummed I didn't get to see Grant because he was working, but we had a nice visit with Dana and the kids.  I think it is so fun for Aunt Susan to have kids close.  Then we drove to Rupert to stay 2 nights with Grammy and Granddad.
