A Whole Bunch of Weirdos!

For Memorial Day we decided to check out the mall here. So, we took the stroller and the boys and headed off, thinking it would be so fun. Note to self - 3 boys are NOT fun to take to the mall. They really did pretty good, but get bored looking at stuff. We went through Macy's which had an escalator. Exciting for everyone, except that the boys had never done it before. So, I tell Tanner to take a step onto the first step, he does so, flops to the ground, grasping for the solid floor that is quickly leaving him, climbing up the steps reaching and flopping, until he finally realized he wasn't going to catch it, and then stood up. I was laughing so hard that I was nearly in tears, and Dave looks at the lady behind us and calmly states, "They don't get out much." I still laugh when I think about it. Then, when he gets to the bottom, I say, "Tanner, just jump over the yellow line." And so, he jumps as high as a kangaroo over this little yellow line. The boys then decided that escalators were fun, so we had to do it a few more times.
Colton said at breakfast yesterday, "The sun has a lightbulb in it. And there are bad guys in it that turn the lightbulb off and on so it is nighttime." Tanner replied, "There are lots of lightbulbs because the sun is really bright."

Colton asked me the other day as we were looking at the sky, "Which cloud is Jesus'?"

Colty also said another time, "I know how rain happens. A pipe goes up from the sink to Jesus' cloud, and then he turns it on and makes it rain."
When things are hot we tell Braden to blow on it. So, lately he is all about blowing on anything with steam. He walked into the bathroom the other day when Dave was showering and just started blowing like crazy. On Sunday he was standing on the deck and the apartment next door and downstairs was doing a BBQ and he was standing there blowing like his life depended on it.
And, well, when you have weird kids, you can assume that the apples didn't fall far from the tree!
