Dave has decided that he is going to call this year 11...we had 99, 05, and then when we got to 2010 we called is 2010. But this year, it is going back to 11. So, Happy 11!
We had such a fun party night.
We invited all our friends over for a New Year's Eve party, and ended up with 9 families, plus ours, making 20 adults and 23 children. It was SO Fun!!!
We ate, and visited, and then played King on the couch. Then at 9 pm we had our own count down (with Telemundo) so the little ones could enjoy a celebration before bed. Everyone brought noise makers and party blowers and we had a real noisy celebration!
Our house was empty and quiet by 9:45, so we convinced our Dad to be fun and take us to another party of someone in our ward. We put on our jammies and went to the Petersons. (They came to our party, then us and another family went back to their home.) It was so fun to visit and have fun. They have the XBox Connect, which was way cool. Dave had said we would only stay an hour, but even he had so much fun that he was surprised when it was suddenly midnight.
We all slept in this morning....getting out of bed at 10 am. Even Braden. So, we had a late breakfast of crepes, and a laid back day.
I love New Years....
